Recreational Masters

For newcomers, including recent graduates from our Learn-to-Row program or those who simply want to row at their own pace, our Masters Recreational group is the perfect fit. You'll receive some valuable technical coaching and guidance to enhance your skills.

Practice times are: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9-11 am.

On the other hand, if you're eager to advance more rapidly and have your sights set on regatta competition, you can opt for our Competitive practice times. Here, you'll not only receive technical coaching but also engage in challenging pieces at race pace. The best part? You have the flexibility to mix and match practices between these programs to fit your schedule perfectly.

Above all, our sessions are designed to be filled with fun and a sense of community. We encourage one another to push beyond our comfort zones, fostering a strong and supportive group dynamic.

The cost for up to 4 practices per week (you can pick and choose what you attend) is $149 per calendar month.

If you're interested in joining our group or have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Coach Gracie at coach@rowsbc.org.

We can't wait to welcome you with open oars! 😊🚣‍♀️

Rowing requires each rower to be able to lift and carry the boat to and from the water. This involves both lifting the boat overhead and carrying it on your shoulder while walking. If you're not yet comfortable with these physical demands, don't worry—there are ways to build up the strength and technique needed.
